Jason Gustaveson, AICP, Vice President, brings a diverse background, experience and command of the metropolitan Chicago commercial real estate market. Over the past nine years Jason has assembled a unique skill set that has made him one of Chicago's top retail brokers. Jason consistently exceeds clients' expectations and offers a unique ability to articulate the nuances and interrelationships of the various Chicago suburban markets.

A Chicago native, Jason began his career in real estate working for a delegate agency of the City of Chicago. Jason's leadership sparked over $5 million in new investment as well as encouraged the city to commit to over $20 million in development incentives.

As a certified city planner, Jason has secured entitlements and managed the due diligence issues associated with large-scale retail development projects, including governmental negotiations and approvals, site design and engineering. Jason's background in urban planning has given him insight that most real estate professionals overlook, specifically urban retail markets like Chicago and suburban downtowns.

Formerly a Vice President with Zifkin Realty & Development, Jason spearheads Jos. A. Bank Clothiers' expansion in metropolitan Chicago, Wisconsin and Northern Indiana. Jason's other clients include Jones Apparel Group, Lori's Designer Shoes and Hastens Beds, and he is a member of the Stone Real Estate team representing The Fresh Market. Jason is the primary leasing agent for numerous sites throughout the suburbs, as well as high profile properties in Lincoln Park and downtown Chicago.

Jason earned a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Jason is a member of the American Institute Certified Planners (AICP) and is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).

A White Sox fan, Jason keeps busy watching baseball, spending time with his family and trying to keep up with his young children.
