Jason Gustaveson, AICP, Vice President, brings a diverse background, experience and command of the metropolitan Chicago commercial real estate market. Over the past eight years Jason has assembled a unique skill set that has made him on of Chicago’s top retail leasing brokers.
Jason began his career in real estate working for a delegate agency of the City of Chicago. Jason’s leadership sparked over $5 million in new investment as well as encouraged the City to commit to over $20 million in development incentives.
As a certified city planner, Jason has secured entitlements and managed the due diligence issues associated with large scale retail development projects, including governmental negotiations and approvals, site design and engineering. Jason’s background in urban planning has given him insight that most real estate professionals overlook, specifically urban retail markets like Chicago and suburban downtowns.
Formerly a Vice President with Zifkin Realty & Development, Jason spearheads Jos. A Bank Clothiers expansion in Metropolitan Chicago, as well as Wisconsin and Indiana. Jason’s other clients include Lori’s Designer Shoes and Hastens Beds. Jason has also led third-party leasing assignments such as the Quentin Collection and Bricktown Square.
Jason earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree and a Masters in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is a member of the American Institute Certified Planners (AICP), holds an Illinois Real Estate Salesperson’s License and is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
